Property Tax Increase Morris Area Public Library

Notice of Proposed Property Tax Increase for Morris Area Public Library District:

I. A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for Morris Area Public Library District for 2023 will be held on November 14, 2022, at 6:30 P.M. at the Library, 604 Liberty St Morris IL 60450.

II. The total property taxes extended for 2022 were $865,066.00.
The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2023 are $951,738. This represents a 10% increase over the previous year.
