Spend the day exploring the incredible underwater world at the Shedd Aquarium. Home to thousands of aquatic animals from around the globe, the aquarium offers immersive exhibits featuring colorful reef fish, sharks, penguins, stingrays, dolphins, and more.

Visitors can experience hands-on learning while discovering fascinating marine ecosystems and the importance of conservation and protecting aquatic life. Whether it’s your first visit or a favorite summer tradition, the aquarium offers something exciting for all ages.

Join us for a special teen bus trip on Friday, July 17, 2026 to attend a performance of Romeo and Juliet at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. This evening experience offers teens the opportunity to enjoy professional live theater, a catered box dinner, and a fun night out with friends.

The trip is generously sponsored by the Sanford Teen Endowment through the Community Foundation of Grundy County, allowing teens to attend for only $10. The cost includes transportation, admission to the performance, and a box dinner.

Established in 1978, the Illinois Shakespeare Festival is a professional repertory company that produces mainstage productions, family-friendly performances, and a wide range of community programming each summer. The Festival welcomes more than 10,000 patrons each season and is recognized for bringing professional artistry, educational opportunities, and community engagement to audiences across Illinois.
