What is Homebound Services?

At the Morris Area Public Library, we believe everyone should have access to the joy and enrichment that library materials offer, even if you can’t physically visit the library. That’s why we provide free homebound delivery and pickup services for individuals who are unable to come to the library. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, caring for a new baby, or no longer able to drive, our service is here to ensure you have access to books, DVDs, audiobooks, and more!

Who Can Use This Service? To be eligible, you must be a resident of the Morris Area Public Library District and have a current MAPL library card. We make deliveries every Tuesday starting at 10:30 AM. You can request specific materials, or if you’re not sure what to choose, we’d be happy to pick out some items based on your preferences!
