What a groovy day at the library! Our FREE Comic Book Day event brought smiles, laughter, and a little mystery-solving magic to patrons of all ages.

Families and fans joined us to celebrate everyone’s favorite crime-solving pup, Scooby-Doo, and his iconic ride, the Mystery Machine. The library was buzzing with excitement as guests enjoyed a variety of themed activities throughout the building.

In the auditorium, attendees kicked back and enjoyed classic Scooby-Doo episodes on the big screen, filling the room with nostalgia and plenty of laughs. Meanwhile, our craft area was full of creativity, with kids and adults alike making fun projects inspired by the show.

One of the biggest hits of the day? Temporary Scooby-Doo tattoos! We saw lots of proud fans showing off their new ink as they explored the event.

Photo opportunities were a highlight as well, with guests snapping pictures alongside Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine both outside in the back parking lot and inside our temporary children’s department. These moments made for some unforgettable memories and some fantastic photos!

To top it all off, visitors also received a free comic book, adding an extra special takeaway to an already fun-filled afternoon.
