Classic Cartoon Fun Lights Up Goold Park!
On Friday, August 15, 2025 families, friends, and neighbors gathered at Goold Park for an unforgettable evening of laughter, music, and community spirit. The Morris Area Public Library’s Music in the Park: Classic Cartoon Sing-Along brought nostalgic cartoon favorites to life with a lively DJ, games, and songs that had both kids and adults joining in the fun.

From dancing and singing to playing outdoor games, the park was filled with energy and smiles. Children enjoyed interactive play while parents relaxed and joined in the sing-along. The first 100 guests received a special gift, making the night even more memorable.

Thanks to the Bowker-Ostrem-Meadows Fund through the Community Foundation of Grundy County, this event showcased the joy of coming together as a community for a free, family-friendly cultural celebration. Many attendees stayed after the sing-along to enjoy a Movies in the Park screening rounding out a perfect summer evening under the stars.
