Library Road Trip Grand Prize Winner Announced

This spring, community members hit the road to explore libraries across northern Illinois as part of the 2026 Library Road Trip program. From March 28 through April 30, participants visited libraries throughout the region, collecting passport stamps, discovering new programs and services, and celebrating everything libraries have to offer.

We are excited to announce that Rowan is the winner of this year’s Morris Area Public Library Library Road Trip Grand Prize Basket!

The Morris Area Public Library prize basket included a Family Season Pass to the Morris City Pool, along with pool toys and accessories generously provided by the City of Morris.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Library Road Trip adventure. We loved seeing patrons explore new libraries, support neighboring communities, and share in the excitement of discovering all the unique experiences libraries provide.

This year’s program featured 19 participating libraries and gave visitors the opportunity to collect stamps, earn raffle entries, and experience the many ways libraries serve their communities.
