This spring, we are partnering with other Illinois libraries around the region to offer a special opportunity for patrons to explore. Starting March 28 and running through April 30, you are invited to take a journey and see all the awesome things libraries have to offer. Each location provides something different to their community. You never know what you might discover!

Pick up a passport from the front desk and start traveling! Collect a stamp at each library visited, including your Morris Area Public Library. Where will you go from here? Make a plan to experience many of the libraries and learn about the different programs and services each library offers to its community. The best part is that it’s free and open to all ages!

For each new library you visit, you will receive a small souvenir (while supplies last) and a stamp. Collecting stamps earns tickets to a Library Road Trip gift basket. Your Morris Area Public Library’s gift basket includes one Family Season Pass to the Morris City Pool, plus pool toys and accessories courtesy of the City of Morris.

Of course we would love for you to visit all 19 locations, but we know that doesn’t work for everyone. Once you decide to end your journey, turn your passport in at the front desk. Based on the amount of stamps you’ve collected, you’ll receive raffle tickets for the Library Road Trip drawing.

1-5 stamps collected = 1 ticket
6-10 stamps collected = 2 tickets
11-15 stamps collected = 3 tickets
16-18 stamps collected = 4 tickets
19 stamps collected = 5 tickets
