Fall is just around the corner. What better way to celebrate than by joining our Mini Pumpkin Decorating Contest? Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just looking for a fun activity, this contest is perfect for all ages!

Starting September 3, swing by the library to register and pick up your very own plastic pumpkin. The challenge? Use your imagination to transform it into a masterpiece! Whether you prefer painting with acrylics, gluing on paper, adding buttons, or using any other medium you’re comfortable with, the possibilities are endless. The only rule is that you must incorporate our provided pumpkin into your design.

Here’s how it works:

• Register and Pick Up: Stop by the library starting September 3 to register for the contest and pick up your pumpkin.
• Get Creative: Decorate your pumpkin using any medium you like—just make sure to include the provided pumpkin in your design.
• Return by October 7: Bring your decorated pumpkin back to the library. Your pumpkin will be assigned a number that will be marked on the bottom.
• Voting: We’ll display all the pumpkins in the library and post photos on our website and Facebook page for public voting starting October 14. Voting will close on October 25.
• Win Prizes: We have two age categories—13 and under, and 14 and over. Winners in each category will receive a prize!
