Mini Pumpkin Decorating Contest

🟢EVERYONE (All Ages)

Get ready to unleash your creativity in our Mini Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Starting September 3, patrons can pick up a plastic pumpkin to decorate. Whether you prefer acrylic, tempera, watercolor, glue-on paper, or buttons, you can use any medium that sparks your imagination—but remember, you must use our provided pumpkins in your creation.

How to Participate:

• Registration: Register when you pick up your pumpkin at the library.
• Decoration: Use your creative skills to decorate your pumpkin. Make sure to include part or all of the provided pumpkin in your design.
• Return: Return your decorated pumpkin by October 7. Your pumpkin will be assigned a number that will be marked on the bottom of your pumpkin.

Voting and Prizes:

• Pumpkin Display: All pumpkins will be displayed in the library and posted on our website and Facebook for public voting starting October 14.
• Voting Deadline: Voting will end on October 25.
• Age Categories: We will have two age categories—13 and under, and 14 and over.
• Prizes: Winners in each category will receive a gift certificate.

Pumpkin Pick-Up:

• Pumpkin pick-up will begin on October 31. All pumpkins must be picked up by November 14.
• Any unclaimed pumpkins after November 14 will be considered donated to the library and may be sold, donated, or disposed of.
