Let your imagination soar during our Crafternoon program! Join us twice a month for an hour of fun, hands-on crafting designed to nurture creativity and spark joy. This is a perfect opportunity for kids to express themselves through art and develop important skills in a supportive, social environment.

This week’s project: Georgia O’Keeffe’s Ladder to the Moon

Why Join Crafternoon?

Crafting isn’t just fun—it’s educational! Through our guided projects, participants will:

  • Enhance Fine Motor Skills: Cutting, gluing, and other crafting activities help strengthen hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Boost Creativity: Open-ended projects encourage out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving.
  • Improve Focus and Patience: Crafting requires attention to detail and fosters a sense of accomplishment when projects are completed.
  • Build Social Skills: Kids will collaborate, share ideas, and make new friends in a relaxed setting.
  • Develop Confidence: Seeing their creations come to life helps kids feel proud of their abilities.

Each session features a new project, with materials provided by the library. Whether your child is an experienced crafter or just discovering their love of creating, Crafternoon is the perfect place to explore and grow.
