In our enthusiasm to announce our expansion project’s completion and reopening date, we underestimated the amount of behind-the-scenes work and finishing touches still needed to fully prepare the new spaces for public use.

To ensure everything is ready for our community, the library’s reopening will be delayed by one day. The library will remain closed on Thursday, June 11, and is now scheduled to reopen at 9:00 AM on Friday, June 12, 2026.

Library staff is hard at work moving collections, organizing materials, setting up furnishings, and preparing the expanded spaces for visitors. While construction is substantially complete, this additional time will allow us to finish the final details and provide the best possible experience when we welcome patrons back.
